YSP CONFERENCE in Cameroon

IAYSP Cameroon partnered with the FIJEC ( International Federation of Young Cameroonian Entrepreneurs) in organizing the the first edition of COMJEBA ( World Congress of Young Bangante Entrepreneurs). It was a one week event aimed at promoting creativity and innovation of Youth and students originating from the Bangante subdivision and also from all over Cameroon. It was also aimed at creating awareness in Youths on their responsibility in the development of their local community using their skills and talents. YSP represented by its president Nchia Kamran, intervened on the 17th of December speaking on theme, “the role of young people for their development and that of their community.” There were over 300 youth and students of 2 secondary schools in attendance.

Mr. Nchia Kamran began by briefly introducing YSP vision and objectives. He told the students that the sustainable solutions to social, economic and political problems can only come from those who develop their heart and character centered and use their skills and talent in service to their community. He concluded by calling on all the youths to subscribe to character education clubs which shall be implemented in their schools in collaboration with the principals who were present. There was a question and answer session in which students wanted to know how to develop good projects for their community, to which he invited them for future sessions on Peace Designer training.

The presentation lasted 2 hours and the studenst and teachers were all anxious to have YSP clubs in their schools.
