Youth Sub regional Forum

As part of the celebration of the International Day of Peace and with the aim of creating a sub-regional community of young peace-building leaders, the IAYSP of the Central African sub-region on the 21st September 2021, organized the Central African Youth Forum around the theme: “THE RESPONSIBILITY OF YOUNG LEADERS IN THE PROMOTION OF A CULTURE OF PEACE“. Through this forum, it was a question of showing how essential it is to talk about the promotion of peace today, especially in Central Africa, which remains a zone of conflict. In turn, we received the interventions of young leaders from Central Africa in particular from the DRC, Sao Tome & Principe as well as Angola who placed particular emphasis on raising awareness among young people for a responsible future. Two resolutions were taken mainly:

– first, insert character education (delivered by the IAYSP) into the national education curriculum of each nation.

Second, encourage young people to become entrepreneurs
