Youth Heroes Award Certificate

IAYSP- BENIN organized during the National S!NERGY a part of Youth Heroes Award Ceremony. Since the Medals do not arrived before the S!NERGY, the awardees received only certificates. Among the listed candidates of youth heroes Award, the Selection Committee selected two important youth of the nation. The medal ceremony will held by 06 of December in Presence of President of National Assembly of Benin whom Assistant give the certificate the Awardees.

The 1st Elected candidate is the Mayor of Sakete City, Mr. Nestor IDOHOU. He is one the youngest Mayors of the nation. He was elected just 7 month ago but he is working hard for the City Development program by using the 3 steps of sustainable Development and Peace of IAYSP:

1-Peace  in me, 2-Peace in the Families and 3-Peace with environment or nature. Many youth women and families are receiving educational programs in the city to develop their capacity to contribute for sustainable peace and shared prosperity.

The Second is a passionate youth Leader. His name is Gaetan DANDJESSO, the Chair of Africa Youth Leadership Conference (AYLP). With passion, determination and ownership, he used his creativity to initiate differents programs that reach thousands of youth in Benin and Africa for Peace.

In 2017 He created Youth Leaders Forum for Peace (YLFP) which was annual program and aims to bring togheter Benin youth leaders and share common and universal values to create harmony and peaceful nation. Based on that foundation AYLP is created on 12th August 2020 and succefuly put together youth leaders even Young Parliament, Mayors and Minister accros Africa who discuss and learn from each other the common way to unite Africa and create a new future for the continent. In 2017, He created the Innovative, Cultural and Arts Festival for Peace (FICA-Peace) and reach the Top professional artists of the nation that became Youth Ambassador for Peace. In 2018, He initiated and lead Teachers Training Tours to impact 750 Teacher for character education.
