TREE PLANTING PROJECT

IAYSP-Nigeria organized the Tree Planting project on August 12, 2021 to celebrarte on the International Youth Day.

Medicinal, fruit(Almond) and flower trees were planted in three different areas in Ogoja (Ishibori, Abakpa and the LGA). As the result 400trees were planted through this activity. We term it operation Tree Planting to curb  poverty, sickness and to  combat climate change which is on the rise in the world today as well as to combat Climate Change and Global Warming.

This project will reduce sickness because of it medicinal nature,eliminate poverty and hunger via the sales of it’s fruits and  to beautify our environment via the beautiful flowers.

Participation was massive.Youths tend out in their various localities.Traditional rulers welcome us, indegenes express gratitude to  IAYSP.

We have and will educate more youth on the need to plant and the usage of the trees for  medicinal purposed, economic and beautification of the environment. We also have to treat the trees with insecticides, fertilizers and water services during the dry season.
