Sub regional Youth forum

On October 15, 2020, the G5 Sahel youth forum was held. This forum brought together all young people from the countries making up the G5 Sahel which are Mauritania, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Niger, Mali. During this forum the young people discussed different topics including violent extremism and radicalization. we broached themes such as terrorism, unemployment, media education. At the end of this forum, the young people together made a declaration which was returned to the President of the Republic of Burkina Faso. The President of IAYSP Burkina Faso took the floor to explain how character education can help young people avoid terrorism how character education can help families to better educate children and how young people can work together to to establish a climate of peace in the various nations.
