Reflection workshop on the occasion of the National Heroes Day LUMUMBA and KABILA

IAYSP-DR Congo organized Reflection workshop, New Presidential Gallery, Gombe-Kinshasa on January 16, 2020.

In order to materialize its education program on Peace, Prevention and Peaceful Conflict Resolution, … International Association of Youth and Students for Peace(IAYSP)-RD Congo co-organized, with its partners, the Cabinet Short Way Consulting and the Youth Movement (MPJC), a reflection workshop on the occasion of the National Day dedicated to the National Heroes Emeri Patrice LUMUMBA and Laurent Désiré KABILA.

On this occasion, the officials (Leaders) of youth organizations addressed subjects focused primarily on Peace, Security, Prevention and Conflict Resolution in the Democratic Republic of Congo, particularly in its eastern, southern and central parts; plagued by insecurity due to a strong presence of militias and armed groups.

It was also an occasion of officially presenting in front of other young people, the winners of the first edition of the Young Heroes Award, in order to stimulate them to participate massively in the next edition.
