Nomination Ceremony Ambassadors for Peace

Within the scope of the celebrations of October Rosa, month dedicated to the fight against breast cancer, YSP Angola in view of the fulfillment and observance of the strategic plan of IAYSP to appoint Ambassadors for Peace, on October 26, 2020, YSP held another nomination ceremony for Ambassadors for Peace.

Eleven personalities of Angolan society from different areas of activity were appointed as Ambassadors for Peace, making an active contribution to the development of young people and students in Angola and beyond. In addition to the eleven nominated Ambassadors for Peace, the ceremony was attended by Ms. Mónica Makiese, president of WFWP in Angola, Dr. Ilda Sebastiano, representative of the Angolan League against breast cancer and Dr. Wanda Freire, the founder of Angolan League to fight breast cancer.

The ceremony had simultaneous translation into languages, English by YSP Angola`s information secretary Mr. Mateus Capita and French support by UPF Angola by general secretary Joaquim Moreira Rodrigues and also counted on the direct participation of YSP Latin America by the president of YSP-Peru Dokwa Miraval who did the translation into Spanish.

Under the motto “ SORORIDADE“ OCTOBER ROSA, in the vision of the founder of YSP, Dr. Hak Já Han Moon, means to live for the sake of the well-being of others without any discrimination of race, tribe, ideology, religion and Nation.
