Meeting with Virtually Impaired

On April 8,2022 YSP had a meeting with some leaders of the Blind Association of Liberia. The vice president of the United Blind Association of Liberia said that the visually impaired people of Liberia have been betrayed and used as a stepping-stone to enrich some individuals or institutions. John Kollie, who is also a visually impaired person admitted that he is a street begger, and that any organization that is willing to take him off the street, must be sincere and honest he said. Nearly all of the visually impaired people that attended Friday meeting expressed their disappointment and frustration in so many organizations that confronted them in the name of providing some helping hands but to no avail. At the end of meeting, they all agreed to work with YSP Liberia  and hold them by their conscience

This is part of the work project that will develop from the support to be given by the American Church: The program for the visually impaired is to educate them/upskill them or if they already have some skills they can put it to good use and achieve something worthwhile for themselves and community.
