Election Ceremony and nomination of the Young Heroes Award and S!NERGY Angola 2021
YSP-Angola held the Election Ceremony and nomination of the Young Heroes Award and S!nergy Angola 2021 on November 14, from 16h to 18h20, Central Africa time. The ceremony was held through the Zoom platform with coverage on Facebook – to comply with the international strategic plan.
Of the 14 candidates registered, the Selection Committee and jury, composed of the National President of YSP-Angola, Ambassadors for Peace and the winner of the S! NERGY-Africa 2020 the Angolan Alda Manuel, selected 6 candidates, of which 3 were the most voted by the public and the Selection and Jury Committee, namely:
1. Telma Patrícia -Project “Women Motivating” was the 1st to be qualified for the Young Heroes Award Angola 2021;
2. Manásia Futa – Project “Kuzunga” was the 2nd to be qualified for the Young Heroes Award Angola 2021;
3. José Coio – Project “Start-up Student Carneiro” is the winner of S! NERGY Angola 2021 that will represent Angola in the S! NERGY of Sub-Region 3 of Africa.
YSP organizes and conducts the Young Heroes Award and S! NERGY annually with the purpose of bringing together young people and students, focusing on building strategies for the world of sustainable peace that corresponds to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations; the S!nergy program is the result of the combination: Youth, Ideas and Energy. YSP recognizes and embodies young leaders who contribute to the resolution of social problems. The Young Heroes Award is the designation of recognition that YSP assigns to young leaders of good character, inspiring others and who make a contribution in the most varied areas – philanthropy, science, art, communication, engineering and other areas.
