Dialogue Table IV. Community Workshop and its Contribution to Sustainable Peace
On 4 December, the Dialogue Table for Peace was held on the theme: Community Workshops and their Contribution to Sustainable Peace; dialogue moderated by the Ambassador of Peace, Pedro Paris; it was held in Viana, Incutal District – Polo 1, Center of the Academy of Kandegues Scientists. In this event, 10 young people who were awarded the certificate were appointed to The Peacemakers of ysp.
The challenge put to the table for dialogue found as problems: hunger, unemployment, poverty, prostitution and lack of opportunity.
Based on experiences such as:
Viana (9 to 15 August): 120 young women benefited from the workshop on environmental education and sustainable chemistry;
Cacuaco (13 to 17 September): 60 young women formed in artisanal soap and environmental education;
Cazenga (18-22 October): 75 young women benefited from workshops on entrepreneurship and health.
The following solutions were found and proposed: self-employment, social and financial stability, economic growth, quality of education and partnerships and gender equality (gender humility).
