Character Education Workshop #14 Drug Use – Focus on Prevention

YSP-Angola held the workshop on Character Education for its collaborating members (Ambassadors and Ambassadors for Peace and Peace Makers) on Thursday, August 5, 2021. The event was held through the zoom platform with the theme: Drug Use – Focus on Prevention.

The workshop lecturer, Vice President of YSP-ANGOLA, Mr. José Calembe who is also the coordinator of the Education of Character project, moderated by the Director of Finance and Advisor of YSP-ANGOLA, Dr. Ariana Ortet Vigelandzoon, led the auditorium to reflect on the theme: Drug Use – Focus on Prevention.

The approach focused on the subpoints below:

The Drug Problem;

Degrading Effects of Drugs;

Prevention of Drug Use.

After presenting the points, the auditorium debated about the effects to the individual, family and social consequences; and on the economic consequences.

It was concluded that prevention is the best medicine for a more ecological and prosperous society.
