Character Education
IAYSP-DR Congo organized character education on September 17, 2022 in Kinshasa.
As part of character education teaching, the IAYSP continued with its program within the palm tree school in the commune of Ngalima. First, the 7th and 8th graders learned the basics, some basic concepts of character education and also the purpose for which they should learn character education as a course. In addition they noted the plan of the annual course. Secondly, the students of the 1st and 2nd humanities have learned the main purpose for which they learn character education. This can be summed up in this term, “beyond the talents that each student possesses, character education forges the behavior of the person so that the latter can exercise his talent with a sense of responsibility”. The students were moved and present the interest to continue the course. In addition, they received an assignment. Thirdly, the pupils of 3rd and 4th humanities learned the notions on the major problems that one currently finds in our Congolese society. These issues are lack of guidance, conflict, sexualization and exploitation.
